# Advanced Settings

> Manage your timezone, review recent login activity, and delete your account

Advanced account settings are available under **Account → Advanced**. This page covers preferences and security information that apply to your personal account across all newsletters.

## Timezone

Your timezone affects how dates and times are displayed throughout LetterBucket — scheduled send times, analytics timestamps, and activity logs all follow this setting.

To change it:

1. Click the **Timezone** field.
2. Type to search for a city or region (e.g. "New York", "London", "Tokyo").
3. Select the correct timezone from the dropdown.
4. Save.

<Tip>
  Set your timezone to match where you are, not where your audience is. LetterBucket displays times in your local timezone by default, and you can adjust send times separately when scheduling a post.
</Tip>

## Last login information

The **Last Login Information** section shows a log of recent IP addresses that have accessed your account. Use this to verify that only expected devices and locations are logging in.

If you see an IP address you don't recognize, change your password immediately and consider enabling **Two-Factor Authentication** under [Settings → Security](/settings/security).

## Delete account

<Danger>
  Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data — including newsletters, posts, subscribers, and settings — will be erased.
</Danger>

If you want to permanently delete your LetterBucket account:

1. Scroll to the **Delete Account** section.
2. Read the warning carefully.
3. Type `DELETE` in the confirmation field (uppercase, exactly as shown).
4. Click the delete button to confirm.

Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed. This action cannot be reversed.
