You can export your data at any time from Settings → Newsletter → Export Data. Exports are generated as CSV files and are available to download immediately or from the historical exports log.

Export types

Export Subscribers (Quick)

Downloads a lightweight CSV with the essential fields for each subscriber:
  • Email address
  • Subscription status
  • Subscriber tier
Use this when you need a fast snapshot of your list without extra detail.

Export Subscribers (Full)

Downloads a comprehensive CSV with every field LetterBucket stores for your subscribers, including:
  • Email address
  • First and last name
  • Subscription status and tier
  • Signup date
  • Engagement stats (open rate, click rate)
  • Segments
  • Any custom fields
Use this for full list migrations, detailed analysis, or backup purposes.

Export Posts

Downloads a CSV of all your posts with their metadata:
  • Title and subtitle
  • Publication date
  • Status (draft, published, etc.)
  • Key performance metrics

Historical exports

Every export you generate is logged in the Historical Exports table at the bottom of the page. The table shows:

TypeWhich export type was requested
StatusProcessing, ready, or failed
DownloadLink to download the file once it’s ready
Exports remain available for download for a limited time. If you need to re-download an older export, generate a new one.
Run a full subscriber export regularly as a backup, especially before making bulk changes to your list.
